Brett Anderson Is A Funny Dude

I’m not a guy who cares much for Twitter, arguing online with morons (unless it's with a fan of the Baltimore Trash O's), and spending hours in the armpit Blue Jays land of dipshit Reddit with people who value their post karma as something that actually matters.

However, what I do like about Twitter is that I can follow cool writers, get their recent articles, and give ‘em a read when I’m in the mood. It’s most definitely a better Blue Jays environment than say that shitty trash like archaic land before time r/Torontobluejays thing in Reddit– that’s for damn sure. Also, you can follow me @jdroppings. Now, I’m no @cooom, but I’m starting to get the hang of the chirp, the tweet, and GIF thing.

Side note: This was me attempting to do some kind of shameless self promotion kind of thing, something I rarely do. Actually, you know what, don't bother following me, I only tweet my articles with the hope that someone will actually read the nonsense that I type up, and I'm not that funny anyway.

Now, if you want to follow someone on Twitter that's funny and seems to be there to amuse you, here's your Blue Jays man @BAnderson3737. So in this ‘Tweet Land’ of some kind of thought, there are some pretty funny voices that chirp their way along the Internet feed and one of them is Brett Anderson, as you probably already know. It’s already been showcased over at Blue Jays Nation about a month ago by the Twitter Savage himself, so you can check that piece out here if you haven't already.

I just can’t ignore the glorious stream of thought that comes from this big ginger bearded hurler who the Blue Jays should probably sign as a depth pitcher for next season. So I say let’s take a look at some of these deep profound thoughts, in good ol’ Labatt Blue fashion. Why not? It's an off day, the season is almost done, and I'm not about to write some kind of something about the 2018 Blue Jays just yet, but if that's what you're looking for, I'm sure you can find it at Jays Journal.

And cue the holy-what-a-great-idea noise now. I might just do this, walk around Toronto, make that million, quit my job, buy an RV, and become a nomad cruising around North America. Really, I mean it.

Goddamn it, I never really thought about this, but it's true. It's kind of like how Keith Richards has looked like a zombie for the past 35 years too. Hmmm, is Keith Richards a zombie? I'm not sure, but he's definitely more human than human - see what I did there?

This is a fact. Moving on ...

It really is. It's a an ol' dude catching baby ducks who are up too high on a roof and need a little help, as they try to keep up with their mumsy. If you're having a bad day at work, contemplating what the point of all this is, watch this and you'll feel better for at least a minute. And then you can get back to wondering about why the hell you should enjoy being awakened at 8:30 a.m. by an alarm clock, leap out of bed, dress, force-feed, shit, piss, brush teeth and hair, and fight traffic to get to a place where essentially you made lots of money for somebody else and were asked to be grateful for the opportunity to do so? Charles Bukowski? You bet. And ain't that the high and inside truth.

Back to Brett:

Insert the think face emoji.

And one more think face emoji here too.

Should I say it? Hmm. I'm not too sure. This is suppose to be fun, and sports aren't suppose to be political, right? (sarcastic tone) But it would be so much fun to say because Ted Cruz is such a goddamn moron. Okay, here goes it: Fuck, Ted Cruz. There I said it, moving on ...

I'm a portly, white, ginger and this tweet is too damn good, Eh! Now, I can keep embedding more of his tweets here and this could turn into some kind of epic Anderson thought shrine, but to be honest, I'm getting bored, and I have some shit to do, so I will stop here. He has some good thoughts on Game Of Thrones characters, tigers, College Football, things, and other things too, so go follow this man in the name of fun. And if you're one of those people who aren't fun to be around at parties and spend endless hours on Reddit, way to go champ.
